Students, Officers of Administration, Support Staff, and Faculty traveling with students are required under the International Travel Planning Policy to register their international Columbia Travel in International SOS MyTrips. While faculty and researchers are not required to register their Columbia Travel, they are highly encouraged to do so.
Registering your trip helps the University to communicate with you in the event of an emergency and provide assistance as needed. It allows for check-ins during large scale emergencies, and provides you with automated health, safety, and security information specific to your travel destination for the duration of your trip.
Travelers can upload upload any relevant documents for access during their time abroad in the ISOS Emergency Record.
